Why do we not rank Dionne among the best players of all time?

The case for Dionne being among the very greatest players of all time is his all time numbers and the sheer length of his peak, which was unprecedented.

The case against is that he was never the best player in the league[39. And Dionne was only once the best offensive player in the league, by Offensive Point Shares, which is weighted towards better teams] and that he never won anything where he was the star of the team.

But he was on bad teams and he rarely had great teammates. He had to do all the work himself.
